Her education includes:

  • Webster Certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA)

  • Ongoing training in Functional Neurodevelopment

Why I Started Mama’s Chiropractor

After becoming a mother and earning her Doctorate from Parker University in Dallas, TX, Dr. Natalie experienced firsthand the difference that informed, supportive care can make not just during pregnancy, but throughout the earliest stages of a child’s life.

When she returned home to Houma, LA, she saw how much was missing in her own community: natural care options, birth education, and family-first support. Mama’s Chiropractor was born from that gap and from a deep desire to walk with families through these tender, transformational seasons.

Today, her practice serves mamas, babies, and growing families who want to build healthy foundations physically, emotionally, and neurologically.

“My mission is to equip and support families so they feel connected, confident, and empowered to thrive together.”

Her husband, Dr. Slye Cheramie was born and raised in South Louisiana and they always knew they would call this home again.

Dr. Scout Blades

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Scout is a chiropractor who believes in the power of the body, the brain, and a holistic approach to healing. She loves helping families of all ages move better, feel better, and live healthier lives through personalized, hands-on care.

For Dr. Scout, chiropractic is more than a profession—it’s a way to give back to the community she grew up in. After playing three years of college softball at Nicholls State University and earning a bachelor’s degree in anatomy, she discovered her passion for understanding the body at a deeper level, which led her to pursue a master’s in neuroscience and a career in chiropractic. Her training and experience allow her to focus on addressing the root causes of discomfort, improving movement, and empowering patients to take control of their own wellness journey.

Dr. Scout is proud to serve the community she calls home, combining science, and a holistic approach to care. Whether she’s helping athletes perform at their best, supporting a child’s growth and development, or guiding a parent toward better health, Dr. Scout believes in treating every patient like family and creating lasting results for generations to come.

Sarah Cadiere

Patient Flow Manager

If you’ve ever felt instantly welcomed the moment you walked through our doors—there’s a good chance Sarah was part of that feeling.

Sarah is our Patient Flow Coordinator, and she has a heart for moms and babies that runs deep. What makes her role extra special is where she came from.

Before joining our practice, Sarah worked in a bridal store—helping women prepare for one of the most meaningful days of their lives. She fitted wedding dresses, shared quiet moments with brides, and witnessed the beginning of so many love stories.

Now?
She gets to see those same women years later—married, growing, and walking into motherhood with their babies in their arms. That full-circle moment is not lost on her.

Sarah often says this job feels special—watching women evolve from brides to mothers, and being part of their support system during such a tender season of life. She sees the courage it takes to show up tired, overwhelmed, hopeful, and wanting the best for your child.
And she treats every family who walks in accordingly—with care, attention to detail, patience, and genuine love.

Rae Burgo

Social Media Manager

If you’ve felt more connected to our practice lately…
If our posts have felt more real, more grounded, more human
That’s Rae.

Dr. Natalie originally met Rae not as a team member—but as a practice mom. And from the very beginning, what stood out wasn’t just her talent, but the way she shows up as a mother.

Rae is balancing three little ones under four (yes—three under four) while running a beautiful, thriving photography business.

After seeing the way Rae captured emotion, connection, and real life—even in the middle of a full, loud, love-filled home—Dr. Natalie couldn’t let go of the talent she saw. So she asked Rae a simple question:
Would you be willing to run our social media from home?

And Rae has absolutely knocked it out of the park.

She has gone above and beyond anything we could have imagined—especially during a season of growth and transition for our practice. She understands holistic health. She understands motherhood. And she understands how to communicate care in a way that feels honest and aligned.

Rae has a heart that bleeds for her family and for others. She wants healthy kids, supported parents, and real answers—and she’s not afraid to research the heck out of something when mainstream explanations fall short.

Our Care Philosophy

Our approach is gentle, informed, and highly intentional. With training in neurodevelopment and hands-on techniques for infants, we look at the whole picture, not just symptoms, and care deeply about what happens beneath the surface.

We focuses on:

Restoring balance to the nervous system

Supporting healthy infant movement and development

Creating space for empowered pregnancy and postpartum healing

Helping families feel stronger, calmer, and more connected

Our care is rooted in real-life motherhood, scientific study, and a deep belief
that the body is designed to heal and grow when given the right support.
